Annealed Bare Core
Annealed Bare Core
Bare copper wire is a single strand of 99.99% copper wire. Annealed Bare Copper Wire is formed by the process of reheating the bare copper above its crystallization temperature and held there until all previous thermal history is remove and is then cooled. This results in the crystalline matrix to regrow along a linear path increasing the metals ductility and reducing its hardness. The annealing process ensures that the wire has the desired mechanical and electrical properties, making it a preferred choice for electrical cables and wires.
